7.9 quake in Peru

An earthquake of nearly 8 on the Richter scale has hit Peru.

Is this guy crazy?

Hmmm...perhaps not 'crazy' per se, but obviously this bishop is very much mistaken in his thought that the names of God and Allah are synonymous.

THEY ARE NOT.

Not only is this just another symptom of the off-kilter thought processes brought on by RELIGION in general, it's yet another attempt to appease the muslims at the expense of 'christianity' or any religion other than Islam.

Heaven forbid we should make the Muslims try to toe the line in any way, shape or form when it comes to their religion, and force them into assimilating into society, when many of them outright refuse to do so, and even use our own legal system against us to get their way. Talk about criminal!

Hurrah for Michael Savage and talk radio!

While I'm actually amazed that this proposal didn't pass in the Leftiest place in the country, San Francisco, I am very happy that it didn't pass.

What people like San Francisco Supervisor Gerardo Sandoval don't seem to understand, is that 'free speech' means just that - FREE SPEECH - whether or not you don't like it, or it hurts your poor little feelings, or you think someone's remarks are mean or even disparaging. You should not be able to sue, pass proposals against, intimidate or threaten someone (or someone's livelihood) simply because you DON'T LIKE THEIR OPINION.

Just because you don't like someone's opinion does NOT mean it's hate speech, simply because YOU think it is.

Michael Savage is correct about illegal immigrants - according to the LAWS OF THIS COUNTRY, they are criminals, and should be treated as such. It doesn't matter if 'they're just trying to find a job', or they're 'hard workers', or they're 'trying to provide for their family.' If they are here illegally, IT IS ILLEGAL, and they are criminals, because they have broken the law. We need to simply enforce the laws that are already on the books!

So grow a backbone, and stop being a bunch of litigious pantywaists!

3rd SPP Meeting this month in Canada

For the third time in just under 3 years, President Bush, the Mexican president and the Canadian prime minister will convene another meeting on SPP (Securuity and Prosperity Partnership) on August 20-21, 2007.

These meetings have been held in relative secret, with a 'a multinational business agenda (industry, security, transportation)...issues which may very well pave the way toward erasing the borders between our 3 countries, creating a 'North American Union.'
