Throughout history, strange beasts and beings have been seen, heard, talked about, and acknowledged by every and ALL of mankind around the world. And the majority of them have not been the 'warm and fuzzy' types. In fact, fear and terror seem to be part and parcel of coming across any of thee types of beings, real or imagined. Makes you wonder where all of these creatures came from, doesn't it? Since it seems they have been around as long as mankind has been around, one can only assume they really do exist. So they must come from...somewhere, right?

The Bible tells us that Heaven's most glorious angel, Lucifer, the "bright morning star," was cast out of heaven by God when he got too big for his angelic britches. Of course he took his demonic retinue with him, about one-third of the angels in heaven. Game over, man, game over!
Since then, satan has made it Mission #1 to destroy God's creation--both the earth itself and mankind, especially Jews (as God's chosen) and believers in Christ--sending as many souls to hell as possible. His deceptive resources seem to know no bounds, and his hellish body count is undoubtedly in the billions. Seems he has more demonic tricks up his sleeve than there are stars in the sky. As such, he uses the gullibility of mankind itself to deceive us, especially when we are not grounded in the Word, and do not put on the full armor of God daily.

Of course it doesn't stop there. Satan changes up things right along with changing human wants, needs, desires, fears, tastes, customs, ideals, and thoughts. Ancient middle east? He'll give them Echidna, Cerberus, Medusa and the Gorgons. Biblical era man? How about the Nephilim? Native Americans? He'll give them skinwalkers, spirit animals, and thunderbirds. European middle ages? He'll try witches, Nosferatu, dragons, and werewolves. Jewish? He'll give them the golem. Victorian England or 19th/20th century America? How about Frankenstein or Cthulu? He will try anything and everything in order to keep us (literally) in the dark and far away from the loving, inspiring, life-giving TRUTH of the word of Jesus Christ. Choose wisely.
