"Christian militants." The very phrase seems to be an oxymoron.
ANYONE can say they're a "christian", and many people think they are one, simply because they are not Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, etc. But apologists say that merely saying you are a Christian makes about as much sense as standing in your garage and saying that you're a car.
Now God tells us to put on the "armor of God" (Eph 6:10-17) and that Christians are in a "battle" between good and evil on this planet, but as stated in this article: "When Christians resort to illegal and militant action, they are acting no better than Islamic radicals who believe that they have to fight for God. The same spirit is working in both religions, and they end up hurting people in practice of faith."
