While this verges on conspiracy theory, after this past summer of Jade Helm exercises in the SW, the closing of 6 Walmart stores (for the odd reason of "plumbing issues") and other surreptitious goings-on, I can almost bet that the reality of these bases is not so dumb. I've heard about Mount Weather for quite some time, so this is not surprising to me.
