WOW! Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews have actually been DEMOTED!!!
This strikes a HUGE blow to two of the most incendiary and liberal mouthpieces in the MSM! :D
"MSNBC is behaving like a heroin addict," one senior staff member observed. "They’re living from fix to fix and swearing they’ll go into rehab the next week."
And after this outburst from Olbermann on the last night of the RNC, the public backlash was undoubtedly fierce:
On the final night of the Republican convention, after MSNBC televised the party’s video "tribute to the victims of 9/11," including graphic footage of the World Trade Center attacks, Mr. Olbermann abruptly took off his journalistic hat.
"I’m sorry, it’s necessary to say this," he began. After saying that the video had exploited the memories of the dead, he directly apologized to viewers who were offended. Then, sounding like a network executive, he said it was "probably not appropriate to be shown."
This just goes to show that Olbermann is one of those "journalists" (a term I use very loosely) who jump from one crisis to the next, and 9/11 is just another "story" that's over and done with, and now should be swept under the rug.
Oooh, I can hear their egos exploding even now. :)
