This is again laying the groundwork for a system in which the anti-christ will be able to monitor everyone, and keep track of everything (also thanks to RFID, or its successor). Each of these issues, on its own, seems harmless to a point. But when they are combined into one global system, that's the point at which we can do "too little too late."
