The greening of the Pope

The Bible says that in the end days there will be a one-world Government and a world religion, and that the two will be very intertwined.  The Pope has always been an outspoken, controversial figure, and Catholicism in and of itself is very constroversial to many. 

 

Now with the Pope gunning for a world body to oversee and control the ecological aspect of the planet, could this become the new "religion"--forcing us to "worship" nature and adhere to strict eco-boundaries in how we live, all under the guise of "stewardship"?
