Weinstein
is the CEO/Chairman of The Weinstein Company, one of the largest and most
prolific movie production studios in Hollywood. Their company
has produced such well known and well-received movies as Gangs of New York,
Pulp Fiction, Shakespeare in Love, The English Patient, Django Unchained, The
King's Speech, Silver Linings Playbook, Inglourious Basterds, and The Imitation
Game.
As
well, he formerly headed up (along with his brother) another giant Hollywood
studio, Miramax, before being acquired by Disney in 1993. Weinstein
is also well connected to some very high level people, being a major campaign contributor to, as well as friends with, both the Clintons and the Obamas. In fact, Malia Obama, former eldest daughter, went to work for Weinstein after the Obamas left
office. No one has heard yet if she had any issues with Harvey himself, but
just the fact of who she is—and whose daughter
she is—may have saved her from his grubby grabby hands. However, something tells me that in
a different world, if she were just another "pretty young thing"
working for Harvey, the story would be very different. Because gosh, he seems like quite
the charmer!
With his actions spanning literally decades, Weinstein
epitomizes the lecherous studio boss and the infamous "casting couch."
In fact, it seems that it was his very calling card. And everyone in Hollywood knew
it. So they are all culpable with their silence. If we were entering World War
2, with the whole "loose lips sink ships" hoopla, Hollywood
would get very high marks for their "tight lips!" 😁 But like the first
one in the pool, seems they were all just waiting for someone else to take the
plunge. And once that happened, they were then free to pig-pile on Harvey, to make
him the official Hollywood sacrifice and scapegoat.
Even
his own brother kicked him out; then his wife decided to leave him as well (because anyone who looks like her would gravitate toward someone who
looks like him, even if he were destitute, right?). It hasn't been a good week for ol' Harv. You
almost feel bad for the guy. Almost. But
you can bet all of the other Hollywood slime, sleazeballs, and pedophiles are
just praying that it all ends with
Harvey, and that if they can dump everything on all him, and every possible Hollywood
ill at his feet, that they will be left the hell alone to go about their merry
way…to molest even more young women (and men) in peace.
So
here's what will undoubtedly happen—because we've all seen this myriad times
before with leftist Hollywood elites. Harvey will go to Europe for
"rehab" (as opposed to going to PRISON like a regular person). While there, he'll be laying
low, keeping out of the limelight, hanging out with the various European
elites (maybe even Roman Polanski, who may give him some tips), and doing business under the table with those he's undoubtedly worked with on the other side of the pond in order to get his monetary ducks in a row
for his eventual resurrection. He'll
endeavor to work on his "mea culpa" humble-pie demeanor: he'll
probably lose weight, maybe get a face lift or have some other "work"
done to pretty himself up, so that his former "ugly" self is all but
erased and forgotten ("Who, that
guy? No, that's the old me, I'm nothing
like that any more, trust me!")
His rehab doctor will, of course, give him the all-clear that he's been fully
tweaked, upgraded, and rehabbed, and is now altogether a good
boy.
Then after a year or two, when the storm has blown over, he'll return to the States, resurrected in some new form or fashion, to be welcomed back and forgiven by the very industry that threw him under the bus in the first place. Then the "new" Harvey Weinstein will again venture forth into the world with a new attitude, a new spring in his step—and probably a new woman on his arm—to show off the new man that he is. Of course, the sycophants and hangers-on will all heap praises and adulation on him for being "so brave" and "turning his life around." I can just see it now: Harvey 2.0, now with more European flavor!

But
enough with the gloating. Harvey Weinstein is undoubtedly a member of what God
calls in the Bible "the Synagogue of Satan": Revelation 2:9, 3:9 – "I
know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the
synagogue of Satan." Now I don't know Weinstein's true lineage; of course he's Jewish by all modern measurements, and he may not even know his real lineage himself. Only God knows what's true and
what's not. But his very actions have me leaning toward this SoS spoken of in the Bible. Not everyone who claims to be Jewish is in fact, Jewish. And because of the Jewish diaspora, we may never know who are the true Jews until the 144,000 are sealed by God during the Tribulation.
What
is true is that Hollywood was birthed by a cadre of Jewish men who didn't seem
to fit in anywhere: they weren't athletic, they weren't overly intelligent,
they weren't all that good-looking. But they were
clever. And they were Masons. So the network, at the ground level, was
seemingly already there. So they planted the roots of Hollywood in the most beautiful,
welcoming, temperate, and inexpensive (at the time) part of the country: California. They
even named their new venture Holly-wood, after a shrub used in ancient Saturnalia rituals.
This
venture would soon eclipse other industries in California to become one of the
biggest, brashest, longest-lasting, most prolific, egotistical and cutthroat industries
in the world. An entire industry based on deception and steeped in the glorification of youth, beauty, power, ego, and money. These stand in stark contract as "stubble" to the things of God that will last for
eternity, such as wisdom, humility, truth, and Godliness. Beauty is a brief attribute in anyone, so inevitably, the lifespan of most actors is
extremely short. A gray hair or two, a random wrinkle, that unforgiving baby
weight—all things that will kick an actor to the curb, especially if one is
female. And Hollywood has always been extremely unforgiving to women.
Hollywood
also became an industry whose fingers inevitably got themselves into some
high-level pies of all sorts, including the CIA,
NASA,
and the Government.
Because of this, we should take anything coming from those entities with a
grain—if not an entire shaker full—of salt. Shacking up with an industry whose very motive is deception, does not make for a wise bedfellow. Power
corrupts. And absolute power corrupts absolutely. And these men (Weinstein included) were the Kings of their industry. And like the story of Daniel and his three friends, who would dare oppose the King, when the King could crush you like a bug if your
desire was to be a big star, but you just didn't want to follow the King's rules? Even today, Weinstein's myriad victims tell stories of being
blackballed in Hollywood because they shunned his advances; while those who
kept their mouths shut (at least, when appropriate) shot to superstardom.
I
would hope that Weinstein would use these dreadful life events to step
away from his industry, out of himself, and meditate/ruminate on his life, his
actions, and where his life is taking him, in order to repent and turn his life
around for the better. But I'm not holding my breath. I have a feeling the roots
of hubris have dug
themselves in too deep in his life. As one who is used to being at the top of the
ladder, used to kicking at those on lower rungs, used to constantly getting his
way, used to never having anyone say "no" to him—the seeds of which
were undoubtedly sewn long ago—those branches are now long, hard, and tangled, and very difficult to chop down. Harvey deserves Christ's salvation, just like anyone else. But it would take a lot. In fact at this point it
would take a literal miracle for that
to happen. And like the rich man and Lazarus the beggar, Harvey may only get
his rewards here in this brief life.
