Very prescient ... and a little creepy

You just KNOW that somehow, some way, SNL will get Tina Fey back for a couple shows to play Sarah Palin, right?

But here's a magazine that's already given us a sneak peek! LOL!

Wait. He said WHAT?!

And in the 'shock and awe' department, we have this:

The troop surge in Iraq has been more successful than anyone could have imagined, Barack Obama conceded Thursday in his first-ever interview on FOX News’ “The O’Reilly Factor.”

As recently as July, the Democratic presidential candidate declined to rate the surge a success, but said it had helped reduce violence in the country. On Thursday, Obama acknowledged the 2007 increase in U.S. troops has benefited the Iraqi people.

“I think that the surge has succeeded in ways that nobody anticipated,” Obama said while refusing to retract his initial opposition to the surge. “I’ve already said it’s succeeded beyond our wildest dreams.”

What planet is this???

A tale of two magazine covers

Liberal bias in the media???? Gasp! Argh! How can this be?

Oh, it be:

Find it here.

Not that I, or anyone I know, subscribe to or read this mag, but even a child could see that this is blatantly biased. The article is full of misinformation as well as information conveniently left out (such as stating that Todd Palin's DUI was 22 years ago, before he and Sarah were even married!). The editor of US Weekly was on FoxNews to try to explain the magazine...but didn't quite come across the way he probably wanted to, thanks to Fox' Megyn Kelly. :)

Pink - the color of the Dems?

Or so it seems.

So the song goes: "the freaks come out at night."

Which means our friends "Code Pink" were at it again at the RNC (courtesy Yahoo).

Here's another one, not sure if he's with Code Pink, but...he could be!

Democratic delegate : A delegate from Florida walks around the floor at the Democratic National Convention 2008 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Um. Yeah. Nice getup. Pink seems to be the color of the day!

As if we needed another reason for a FENCE

When you have problems like this, it's time to build a fence and build it quick.

Hurricane Ike gains strength

Looks like hurricanes Hannah, Ike, and Josephine are conspiring to bring yet more storms and rain to some already very wet areas.
