Isn't it interesting how, when people are allowed to vote, and the PEOPLE vote their approval of a certain issue (such as this or this), the opposition has to riot in the streets, as if that is going to change things?

And rightly so. After well known leaks from the McCain camp about Palin, someone had to go. It's sad that McCain's own campaign wasn't tight enough to create solidarity within its own ranks. :(

However, in my own defense, LOL, I find myself on the Internet more often because I cannot depend on the MSM for my news. I no longer trust the news that comes from CNN, MSNBC or any of the 3 main broadcasting companies. And until the Fairness Doctrine is put into place (which I have no doubt will happen with Obama now in office), in order to give myself a truly fair and balanced view of things, I have to go on line.

It's really a tragedy that we can no longer trust our own news media to be objective and unbiased. Poor Edward R. Murrow must be spinning in his grave.
