Another Utilities Acquisition

Twenty years ago, "deregulation" was the name of the game with utility companies.  But 20 years hence, utility company acquisitions and mergers are taking us right back to the same place again: oligopolies and monopolies. They call the shots, and we have little power to resist or say no.

Pay attention to this quote in the article:  "This is a unique opportunity that will redefine the video entertainment industry and create a company able to offer new bundles and deliver content to consumers across multiple screens – mobile devices, TVs, laptops, cars and even airplanes..."

Once again, this is another step toward the way that the antichrist may seize power - by combining and merging similar type companies, it makes things that much easier to keep tabs on those who use those services...and just as easy to withhold those same services when the need arises.

Do you have the Mark? Then you will get food, water, shelter, electricity, and internet.  But those without will go without.
