UFOs taking a break?

I for one have always believed that UFOs are of a demonic nature, literally hell-bent on deceiving us in whatever way they can (and they have). 

Gizmodo seems to think there's a lull of sorts going on.

Have the demons become bored? are they thinking up new schemes? Could this mean that something else?  something other? Something worse? is coming next?
