Just a few years ago, Syria wasn't even a blip in the news. And undoubtedly, if asked, 99% of people probably couldn't find the country on a map. But fast forward a couple years, and Syria has become THE news topic around the world, whether it's because ISIS is destroying the country, its citizens and children being used as human shields, or chemical warfare being used, Syria has been in the news for many months. And now Israel has launched a sneak attack near the Damascus airport. The Bible tells us that during the end times, at some point, Damascus will cease to exist:
