THE ULTIMATE VIDEO PROPAGANDA MACHINE

OK this technology:

http://www.graphics.stanford.edu/~niessner/thies2016face.html

is a nightmare waiting to happen.

While at this point, this technology looks "cool," it has the potential of ushering in a "whole notha level" of deception, propaganda, and treachery that could (and probably will be) used by video propagandists, police, corporations, security, military contractors, and especially governments and terrorists.

The potential scenario would be where someone is arrested for no good reason, found guilty first, and then not even given a chance to prove their innocence ("Look - we have the video right here! What more do we need?"). It's a nightmare waiting to happen.

This is what I mean about smart people being completely stupid. They don't look at the bigger picture, they don't see anything outside the project, they have tunnel vision about getting it up and running, getting it to "market," and the potential profits it could bring in. They don't really see how it could potentially be used, or how it could affect someone's life, their livelihood, or their family.

I agree with those in the video, I see absolutely NO positive spin for this type of technology. This technology is made purely to deceive. Leave it to the leftists at Stanford to come up with this (since their examples feature George W. Bush and Putin).

EVIL technology.

"WE'RE FROM THE GOVERNMENT, AND WE'RE HERE TO HELP!"

According to Ronald Reagan, those are the nine most frightening words to freedom-loving citizens everywhere! Welcome to the mysterious, covert, ultra-intrusive, and pervasive creepiness of our very own government:

DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency – the Pentagon/military/defense arm)

and

IARPA (Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency – the NSA/"security" arm)

This satire website has some great intel of what the NSA and its ilk are capable of:

This quote is all too similar to Reagan's:

Your Data: If You Have Nothing to Hide, You Have Nothing to Fear

Oh really? Of course, everyone has something to hide: big, small, simple, complex. We all have our skeletons. But do you want an outside (government!) entity poking around in that, digging up things about you that may hinder you from purchases, banking, or getting a job? Yeah, me neither. But poke they do, so you might as well go ahead and make yourself comfortable, because this is gonna hurt!

WE ARE NOT TO HAVE A SPIRIT OF FEAR

It's a well-known fact that people around the world today are AFRAID. Not of Donald Trump necessarily (though of course, some say they are) but cumulatively, because of all the things going on in the world. They can't understand it all, they are having a hard time comprehending what's going on, they cannot see the big picture, and they feel absolutely helpless to stop it.

While perusing some YouTube videos such as this and this, and disseminating information from articles such as these, I like to pay attention to the Comments section, which at times can feature some very insightful thoughts and ideas, and even make you look at a situation in a whole new way (hover or click):

The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of hope and of joy. When things get tough, we are told in Luke "look up...your redemption draws near." In fact, some say that within the Bible, there are at least 365 times we are told to "fear not." Though I cannot find a definitive list that proves this, here are a couple of sites that give a good starting point to banish our growing fears:

HOW THE MEDIA SHAPES THOUGHT

One of the most beloved and long-lived magazines in the media is National Geographic. Their fascinating articles cover a vast array of subjects from history, to geopolitical issues, to cultures around the world, to societal changes, to animals, to technology, and more. One of the magazine's most compelling features are its gorgeous, colorful, alluring covers such as these (hover or click):

Of late, National Geographic seems to have stepped up its game as another hardcore shill for the liberal, pro(re)gressive, anti-Biblical Left. "NatGeo" is part of a group of die-hard Darwinist organizations such as the Smithsonian Institution, and even NASA, from which information then trickles down to the education  system, so that curricula and syllabi are skewed to the overall left-leaning paradigm. Here are some more recent covers. See a pattern?
