After
9-11, there was a flurry of musical artists putting out songs
in tribute to the tragedy. One of them was "Wake Me Up When September
Ends" by Green Day. However, my favorite was U2's album "All
that You Can't Leave Behind." Released in October 2000, its songs and
lyrics took on an extremely ironic and poignant meaning after 9-11, with songs
like "New York." However, a year later, the songs took on entirely
new meanings after 9-11. I remember driving around town post-9-11, listening to the music
and lyrics, tears streaming down my face. It was a very sad, strange, and depressing
time. But for some reason, it seems the month of September is infamous for
having all types of events
and occurrences
within its 30-days.
Some people have calculated that September 11 is actually
the day Jesus Christ was
born, and that many events throughout history have
occurred on or around that particular date. Is Satan making a point of
things by causing things to occur on that particular date as a demonic
"happy birthday" in order to stick it to the King of history himself? September 2017, of course, is no different:

SEPTEMBERGEDDON?
Just a
couple days ago was the 16th anniversary of the 9-11 tragedy, yet
another "day that will live in infamy." It's hard to believe it's
been that long. A lot of information has come out since then, some good, some
bad, some
weird…and yet, all these years later, we still don't seem to have the full story of 9-11.

LITTLE BUNNY FOO-FOO THIS IS NOT!
I have to relay a story of my own, one that sort of rocked
my world for a bit. While heading out to my car one day, I nearly tripped over a
tiny baby rabbit, no more than a few weeks old, "hiding" in the grass
right next to the walkway (our yard is full
of rabbits). The tiny thing was probably terrified that I was so close to it,
but I figured its mother would soon come retrieve it. When I got home hours
later, my arms were full, including two gallon containers of water, so I was more
heavy-laden than normal. In a rush to get to my door, I cut across the yard,
off the concrete walkway. Suddenly there was a sickening crunch
beneath my foot. I turned to see what I'd stepped on, only to see that same
baby bunny that had been curled up by the walkway now lurching and thrashing
all over, blood spattering on the sidewalk, until it finally lay still. I
dropped everything and ran over to see if it was still alive, in the hopes of
taking it to my local vet hospital. But it was too late. I'd crushed its poor
little head. I was devastated and quite shaken up (still am, quite frankly). When I called a
friend, hysterical, she assured me that it wasn't my fault, and that nature
being what it is, tragedies like this sometimes happen. While I understood
this, it didn't make me feel less sick. Now, I'm no fan of Peta. I think
veganism and vegetarianism are a bunch of baloney. I'm definitely a carnivore. But that event
really tore me up. I have had several pets, and I simply cannot imagine harming them. Moreover, I have difficulty understanding people who purposely kill or destroy the life of an innocent animal, or who delight in cruelly torturing
an animal to death. Which leads me to this:
Eid ul-Adha. The most repulsive, bloodthirsty
"holiday" in Islam. Not only does Islam lie to its followers about
the very foundations of this celebration (saying that Abraham was going to
sacrifice Ishmael, rather than Isaac),
but the main event of this celebration is tantamount to offering blood
sacrifices to Satan, the being Islam truly
worships. Because this type of bloody ritual goes part and parcel with the
teachings of Islam.
Islam does not teach about loving one's neighbor or
oneself, or treating those who are different with kindness and compassion.
Instead Islam teaches to not make friends with Jews or Christians, and to
"kill the infidel where you find them," as those who do not worship
(the demon) Allah, are not worthy of living. Islam's "jihad" (holy struggle)
has led to thousands of men killing thousands of people who are not Muslim, or
those who will not bend the knee (or wear the burka) to Islam. Thousands of
animals are butchered in the streets of Islamic cities, resulting in literal rivers of blood. This vile
holiday is carried out in front of tiny children, numbing their emotions, and
making killing as commonplace as their 5-a-day-prayers. They cut the animal's
throat (or like one of the pictures below, cut it anywhere) and allow it to simply bleed out. S l o w l y. They kill
anything: sheep, goats, cattle…even camels. They try and pass it off as a holiday where one shares the kill with neighbors and the poor, but in our 21st
century world, this event seems completely unnecessary. And just where is Peta and other animal rights activists during
this bloody celebration? That's right, it's Islam, so: *crickets*
Even more ghastly, it is common practice in Islam to
torture or torment animals before killing them, because they believe it makes
the meat more tender. As you can see from the photos below (and be warned, they
are gruesome and definitely NSFW), this is not a pleasant thing, and is just
another way that Satan, through the tenets of "religion," deceives
followers. Islam is extremely inhumane toward animals, treating them cruelly
and arbitrarily, especially toward things like dogs--man's best friend--whom
they consider "unclean" and even their "enemy" (due to this
arbitrary slight toward Mohammad). Rituals like this are purposely created to
attack and belittle God's creation, by forcing mankind to destroy--in the most
abhorrent ways--the very creatures God gave us to watch over, protect and
"have dominion over," while man thinks he's actually doing a good
work.
The
dichotomy between my feelings over accidentally killing a tiny defenseless
rabbit, and this barbaric ritual of death, is as far as the east is from the
west. I will never understand them, and no doubt, they will never understand
me. But then, I'm one of the "people of the
book" so I know I shouldn't expect much.
