REVELATION 8 - Yellowstone?

while the Bible says that "something like a mountain was thrown into the sea" .... what is a volcano, but a MOUNTAIN ALL ABLAZE. Could this also be part of the horrors still to come, and be part of what Revelation 8 is telling us? Because a caldera of this magnitude could certainly wipe out one-third of the living creatures on the earth.
