PART 3:

So the Coronavirus has taken over the world, quite literally. I have two streams of thought on this whole virus situation:

 I've been saying FOR MONTHS to anyone who would listen, that since NONE of the things worked that the luciferian lunatic leftist Democrats tried in desperation to get rid of Trump—up to and including impeachment--but nothing seemed to work. So now they're really PO'd. Next in their holster is the really big gun: taking down the world economy by ANY means necessary, including a virus that kills a few thousand along the way. If that's what it takes to get rid of Donald J. Trump, the leader of the free world, and usher in the One World/New World Order, then so be it.

Make no mistake, Trump is in office because God has allowed him to be there. Just as he did Obama, and Bush, and Clinton, etc. Romans 13:1 says: "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. Consequently, the one who resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves…" Trump may have an "I don't give a rat's" attitude about most who comes against him, but you don't think that Trump has been able to put up with EVERYTHING that's been thrown at him without the prayers of Christ's followers begging for protection for this man, do you? Oh nay nay. God has a reason and a purpose for Mr. Trump, and while we may never know what that is until we meet the Lord in heaven, it seems obvious to me that Trump has an ARMY of angels surrounding him to deflect the wiles and schemes of all the evil ones that are just gagging to do him harm. 2 Kings 6: 15 tells about when the servant of the prophet Elisha was freaking out over the armies of Armeneans surrounding them, this happened: "When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early in the morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. So he asked Elisha, “Oh, my master, what should we do?” “Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”  Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw that the hills were full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."

The second thing that strikes me about this virus situation is that it seems to me that God is forcing us to humble ourselves! To slow down, to stop distancing ourselves from our families and our loved ones, to get reacquainted with one another again, and rebuild those strong familial bonds that our schools, our work, and our technology seek to tear apart! Humble yourself before the Lord and pray for, and ask for His wisdom, His protection, and His guidance over what you and your family should do during this time. Two weeks seclusion seems like an eternity, but if this stretches into weeks or months, things are going to get extremely stressful.

But I believe God is telling us that we will need those strong family bonds to get us through what's to come, because people…this is NOTHING compared to what's still to come. But for now, try to see the good in your situation: enjoy the unbelievable, miraculous QUIET. Get out--yes! Get out now and then!--take a walk or a run, go to the park, walk your dog, sit on a bench and listen to the birds (or feed the birds). Watch the sunrise or sunset. Look at the stars. Have a picnic. Work in your garden. Learn a new skill. Sit out on your patio with a glass of wine. Do things around the house that you've been putting off for weeks/months/years! Just SLOW DOWN. Rest. Relax. De-stress. Replenish. The 100 MPH rat race onslaught will always be there, lurking in the shadows, waiting to pounce. Don't let it creep back in.

So hang on tightly to the Lord's hand as we stumble through all of this, because I have a feeling things will get worse before they get better. ALL of us need to be as cunning [wise/smart] as serpents…but gentle as doves (Matthew 10:16). If you are a follower of Christ, don't be a milquetoast Christian. The devil and his followers constantly raging against anything that even has a whiff of goodness in it. You need a holy fire in the belly and a strong constitution for these end times, O Gideon. So wake up, pray up, armor up, [Eph 6:10-17], speak up, and go forth in the name of the Lord! Blessings.

IS IT THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT?

PART 1:

It's been a VERY long time since I posted here--well over a year--but there have been some astonishing end times developments in the world, so I felt compelled to comment on what's been happening.

It's now March 2020. There's a strange new virus making its way around the world, known by  Coronavirus, or COVID-19, or the "Wuhan Flu," or as Trump likes to say "the Chinese flu" (which sends all of the media into a complete meltdown for his "insensitivity" to the Chinese). Because—call me crazy—that's where it started. In China. But hey, it's the media, so what do you expect? But there's just so much to say abut this thing I'm just gonna dive right in.

First off, because China held back information about this virus for weeks--especially not informing the WHO as far as correct numbers of those who were catching it, those who were infected, and those who died from it—all of the global numbers we have for the virus are skewed. To this day (about 3 months since the first breakout) we still don't have full knowledge and all the medical information about what's transpired in China, and we probably never will.

The virus, from what we can tell, came from the Wuhan area—a city of several million people—and home to at least two infectious disease laboratories (if not more--one of which is funded by none other than George Soros). The standard thought is that the virus was either purposely let out of the lab, or removed from the lab by mistake, due to an employee's negligence in not following strict hazardous materials protocols. But no matter how it happened, it was soon discovered to be extremely contagious and extremely virulent. Thousands upon thousands of people around the world now have this virus, which ranges in symptoms from next to nothing, to cold-like symptoms, to flu like symptoms, to death, depending on the health of the person, and which strain they catch (there now are believed to be 2 separate strains). Some anticipate that upwards of 90% of the entire world may catch this virus at some point or another.

Add this to the growing list from over the past 20-30 years, where there have been several other major virus or bacterial outbreaks about every 2 years. I guess that's the boredom threshold for TPTB:

2004 – SARS

2008 – Avian flu

2010 – Swine flu

2012 – MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome)

2014 – Ebola

2016 – Zika virus

2018 – Ebola again

2020 – Corona virus / COVID-19

Because it has at least a 14 day incubation period (some think even longer), people who were carriers of the virus unknowingly, and who had not shown any symptoms, were then traveling all over the world, infecting thousands of other people on planes, in airports, in subways, in other types of mass transit, and most especially on cruise ships!

Several cruise ships have had both crew members and passengers come down with the virus, and because it's so contagious, they are not being allowed to dock in various ports around the world, so they just sit outside of the docking areas, with thousands of people on board, some sick--most not--but all having to remain cooped up in their tiny cabins, unable to leave or go home. Because these cruise ships typically have lots of elderly people on board, as well as lots of people with health issues, such as diabetes, this has become a major topic of concern for everyone involved.

Because of all of this, the CDC and the World Health Organization have deemed this event a global PANDEMIC. I never thought I'd hear something like that in my lifetime, because the word has such a horrible historic connotation. But because of that word—pandemic—the world has been absolutely been turned upside down. Here's some of what's been happening:

Everything is shutting down, being cancelled, or postponed:

• The transportation industry - all varieties (the airline industry is now nearly bankrupt)
• Businesses both large and small are telling their employees to stay home, and--
• Restaurants and service industry businesses are now shut down, which is causing great distress, as the majority of workers in the U.S. are in the service industry.
• 2020 will be known as the Great Toilet Paper Panic. When the virus really started ramping up, people lost their minds. They ran to any and every store they could find and bought out every single roll of toilet paper, paper towels, and box of tissue; every bottle of water; every diaper, every thermometer, and tons and tons of other items, stacking their shopping carts literally 6-7 feet high with "stuff" that they believed would help them hunker down and survive this virus. It was like a bad horror movie. And it's not over. Store shelves across the country are still bare, and may remain that way for awhile.
• The government, in their pathetic attempt to assuage fears, tried to pass a bill to give out $1,000 checks to people in need to help them get through this event. BUT. The Democrats in the House shut it down, and refused to push it through. However, that $1,000 won't be enough. When you are a single parent with children, and rent, and childcare, and maybe a car, and other expenses, $1,000 won't cut it for very long.
• One bright spot in all this: taxes are now not due until JULY, hooray!
• Italy has been hit particularly hard due to their refusal to take this virus seriously early on. Consequently, the entire country is now on lock down. People are confined to their homes. But being the always upbeat people they are, they have begun singing, en masse, from their apartments, showing movies, playing music and instruments, and general making the best of their situation.
• Nearly ALL of the world's tourist spots have been closed down, from the Eiffel Tower, to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, to Japanese shrines, to Australian beaches.
• Business events and conferences around the world have been cancelled or postponed.
• Nearly every major event around the world has been cancelled or postponed.
• Events such as music festivals and concerts and parades are cancelled.
• Fashion industry events in every country, have been cancelled. Months and months of work by artists and designers, now all for naught.
• Movie productions have come to a halt.
• Theaters—both movie and stage performances—are closed. Broadway in NYC is closed.
• Nearly every major sporting event has been shut down for the season.  
• Nearly all schools have closed for the year; kids have been sent home, and parents now have to learn how to home school, help their kids with on line classes for the rest of the year, or just learn how to "be" with their children again under one roof.
• Churches have closed their doors, telling their congregants to watch their services on line.
• Local and state governments have now told their citizens to remain in their homes and "shelter in place" as much as possible. The only places that will remain open for the moment in some locations are (some) businesses, grocery stores, banks, hospitals, food banks, some government offices. YMMV in your neighborhood of course.

Around the world there are now extreme shortages of: face masks, gloves, hospital beds, and medical supplies.

No one knows if there is an end date, or if this virus--like the flu--is seasonal. This is uncharted territory.

There is no cure. There is no vaccine. But a drug used for malaria does hold some hope.
