I admit, I watch TV shows that I should not, as a Christian, be watching. I've always always been a "night owl" and have always been drawn to the darker things in life. I know as a Christian, that this is part of my human, carnal, sinful nature, but I have to wonder if it's something more? I know I started watching scary movies and things like "Dark Shadows" waaaay as a youngster back in the day. I'm fascinated by what makes people tick, by crime forensics, how creepy creeps, thugs, pedophiles, and killers became the way they are, and how/why they couldn't stop. I used to be a "goth girl" back in the 80s, and still love darker, somewhat more sinister music, movies, and books.

I'm currently hooked on the TV show "Supernatural." Interesting storyline. It's about two handsome brothers (as Cain to Able, Christ to Antichrist, good to evil) driving around the country in a hot car, playing hot music, and killing myriad demons, monsters, vampires, and all other manner of supernatural evil, all with a side dish of snark. This is just one of many other shows out there that looks at a darker, more rotten side of life...naturally featuring a happy Hollywood ending. But it follows a completely false and hopeless premise that the devil and his demons can be killed with salt, holy water, magic daggers, pentagrams, or ancient spells; that angels are not all that much different than demons, and all of them can be beaten in a good old-fashioned human vs. demon smackdown, using a good left hook.

LIES. LIES. LIES.

Those who have had true "close encounters" with demonic entities, or those who have had an NDE and have gone to hell, will tell a very different story: one of sheer, complete, engulfing, and all-encompassing fear, terror, and horror, to the point that even moving, or making a sound is nearly impossible. The fear is so great, that even those who claim to be non-Christian, or atheists, are compelled to call on the name of Jesus for help! The reality of the devil and his minions is nothing to make light of. When your very eternal soul is involved, you tend to take things much more seriously.

French poet and essayist, Charles Beaudelaire once said, "the best trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist." Satan is the father of lies and deceit, but because of the willingness and gullibility of mankind, for now, it seems, he may have won this particular battle. For now.

Also sadly true: "The devil has always been very sexy," spoken by producer, Glen Mazzara, who will soon be producing yet another demonic TV program based on "the Omen" of the 1970s called simply, "Damien." Created, in part, because of the interest in all things end times related.

If only he knew what was truly in store for the world, he might not want to go down that path.

I am of the opinion...

Notice that John says, he (the first beast) had power to give life unto the "image" of the beast, and the image could both speak and kill those who would not worship him. How would that be possible? Well, as of today, it's not. But with the speed of technology in the last 10 years--and that speed is increasing constantly--there is no end in sight to what could be invented or created next. There is already a program in place that has the ability to project large scale holograms of anyone or anything upon walls, buildings, land masses, even on clouds!

When the Yale Linus lock works with Nest, you can check if the door's closed, give visitors a temporary passcode and see when they came and left – all from your Nest app. Hmm. Wonder what happens when the power goes out, or an EMP is unleashed over our cities? Project "Loon" (because it's a loony idea?) is a new way to get wi-fi to everyone on the planet, using a large number of stratospheric balloons to act as a huge distributed wireless internet network. The balloons would run on solar power and utilize air currents to move around. Cool huh? Well, think about all of those balloons with the ability to not only broadcast wi-fi, but if cameras were installed on them as well, they would then become "eyes" across the world. It makes one wonder who would be watching us--and why?

And if you think drones are merely a fad, you're wrong. The uses for them are endless! And they're just getting started. Google's Project "Wing" would be using drones for their own delivery solution. It sounds benign for now but again, drones with cameras (perhaps infrared?) could silently look through buildings and walls to watch and listen to you without you ever knowing they are there.

Things that go bump in the night?

I've been hearing a lot and reading a lot about "sleep paralysis" and the terrifying effects it can have on a person's psyche. Not only are sufferers not getting a good night's rest, but they are also tormented by horrifying sounds, visions and unearthly beings they cannot understand, don't know where they're from, nor why they have been singled out for this ritual of torment, some from very early on.

While the "enlightened" may believe that its cause is a purely physiological or scientific thing, when sufferers retell their experiences with sleep paralysis, you'll find extremely similar and rather frightening aspects to their stories that seem to be attached to this malady; things that cannot be explained away by mere science.

The spiritual world is funny that way.

Nearly all sufferers claim similar things such as:

The complete inability to move anything but their eyes; but their mind is wide awake.
An intruder, life force, being, shadow man, "hat man" or even black cloud comes into the room.
The loss of respiratory control.
A tingling sensation just before the being appears.
A heavy weight pressing down on top of them.
A dark being with red eyes; the room turning red.
Strange otherworldly sounds and noises, such as hissing, garbled speech or screaming.
A deep dark terror unlike anything they have ever felt before; a feeling of impending death.
A strange foul odor.

THE SEDUCTION OF THE MARK OF THE BEAST

Playing the devil's advocate, here are a list of things that the Mark of the Beast would be good for and/or how it will probably be advertised and pushed on an unsuspecting public (it's already starting).
Any mistaking of your identification should become a thing of the past, as your blood/DNA will be undoubtedly be taken immediately upon birth, and your DNA will be your identifier for the rest of your life:

Food - grocery shopping, fast food, restaurants, bars/taverns, wholesale places, farmers markets; no check out lines - you just walk your basket or cart full of groceries or other items through a scanner at the entrance/exit of the store; the reader will scan all the items you're purchasing and automatically charge them to your bank account.

Shelter - buying a house, renting an apartment, staying in hotels, resorts, or spas anywhere in the world will require less paperwork overall.

Banking - anything that has to do with spending money, or using credit, cash, bills/payments, borrowing, paychecks, expense reimbursements or just plain documentation will disappear.

Safety - ability to track and find your children, elderly relatives, pets and livestock; use your phone, tablet or computer without a password; no need for long lines, nor 'naked machines' at the airport - scanners will be updated to scan you and your luggage more efficiently.

Travel - no more keys to start your car, your chip will start your car automatically; also, you won't need an ID or a passport when traveling overseas.

Entertainment - any entertainment or sporting event, movies, restaurants, travel, concerts, ski resorts or other activities or events around the world.

Tracking - no more tollways or toll tags, insurance companies will be able to track your every driving move and adjust your insurance accordingly; your dentist and doctor will easily be able to track your entire medical history, including your medications, illnesses, family history, and disease susceptibility right down to your DNA; police and EMT personnel will be able to access your personal information easily by scanning your ID chip or tattoo. Conversely, if you are late on a payment, your bank could put a halt on your chip so you can't use it, or you won't be able to drive your car without first making a payment.

Ease and simplicity - you won't need credit cards, a drivers' license or other type of ID, cash, business cards, wallet or a purse (unless you still need lipstick!); you can go shopping without worrying about losing your card(s) or having your purse stolen.

There may be many more "positive" aspects not mentioned here, but no matter how wonderful, or however helpful this chip, tattoo, or DNA manipulation might be for your life, DO NOT TAKE THE MARK. This will be a two-fold thing: you will have to accept the mark, and swear allegience to the Antichrist, in order to buy a loaf of bread, or keep a roof over your head. But it is simply not worth an eternity in hell. And once you do this, there is no turning back. It cannot be reversed. You cannot reneg on the bargain. Think hard, dear friend, before you do this!

Apparently, having a baby (or even being pregnant) when one is Muslim does not preclude the need or urge to be a terrorist. Although it's a long shot, because the child will probably be raised by more Muslims, but I pray that he or she is adopted into some loving American family and God uses them in a mighty way.

You know, I have Muslim families in my neighborhood, and I work with Muslims. It's things like this that sadden me, because even though they are "nice" people, friendly, helpful, etc., it doesn't seem to make any difference. Their entire religion and mindset is to KILL THE INFIDEL (anyone who is not Muslim) and make Islam the world religion. How does one even wrap one's mind around that, let alone try to fight it?
