Religious, Financial, Scientific, Social, Political, and Technological events hurtling us toward the TRIBULATION (Matthew 24, Revelation). Time is short. JUDGEMENT is coming. The MARK of the BEAST is imminent. You MUST be saved! ABCs of Salvation:
A-ADMIT OR ACKNOWLEDGE your need for a Savior (Romans 3:10) B-BELIEVE that Jesus Christ came and died for your sins (Acts 16:31)
C-CALL ON the name of Jesus and you WILL be Saved (Romans 10:13)
The media are obviously grasping at straws if they have nothing better to talk about than Sarah Palin's wardrobe.
It seems the media world (and the rest of the world in general) is laughing at Sarah Palin since she came onto the scene, even if she is resolute in her goal of becoming the first woman VP in United States history. Instead of putting her on a pedestal, they chose to villify her. Let's look at a few other moments in history where people either laughed or were in complete disbelief…just before the tables were turned:
Noah, who built a giant ark in a time where rain was unheard of, just before a flood came and wiped out the entire planet.
Abraham's wife, Sarah, who laughed when God's angel said she would become pregnant and have a son, since she was well into her 90s. She subsequently gave birth to Isaac (meaning 'laughter') who went on to father the Jewish nation.
Goliath, a Philistine giant, laughed at David because of his small stature and young age. David killed him with a sling and a single stone, and went on to become the greatest king Israel ever knew.
Jesus Christ, who died for the sins of the world by being crucified on a cross, which started a worldwide fervor of eternal faith that has never been stamped out since.
Martin Luther, who stood up against the all powerful Catholic church, starting a religious revolution that continues to this very day.
The Jewish people, who though many have sought to destroy them throughout history, remain active and resilient, and will continue to be the central focus of everything that happens on our planet.
George W. Bush, who was elected. Twice. And has kept this country safe since 9/11. Don't discount Sarah Palin yet, folks. She didn't just burst onto the scene for no reason. I have a feeling that God has put her into the limelight for such a time as this.He is definitely not done with her yet. This country needs someone with her values to set things right again!
Saul Alinsky, oft-quoted author of Mr. & Mrs. Barack Obama, penned two books in his life that started revolutions of various types: Reveille for Radicals (1946), and Rules for Radicals (1971). Let's look at the dedication page of Rules for Radicals, shall we?
"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history — the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer."
Lucifer was the first radical who rebelled against the establishment. I agree on those two points, Lucifer was (and is) indeed a radical who rebelled...though not against the "establishment," but against a well-ordered heaven created by a just and loving God. The fact that Lucifer was number one with a bullet in Heaven, top dog, the big kahuna, the big cheese, and was so beautiful he was called the "morning star, son of the dawn," wasn't enough for him...he wanted to BE God. Well, of course, there can be only one God, and God wasn't about to give up his seat to a mere created being.
...did it so effectively... Nope. Another lie. Effectively would mean a triumph of sorts. If Alinsky meant effective in the fact that Lucifer managed to convince one-third of the other angels in heaven to join the fight against the "establishment," that would be true, but in the end, he caused their downfall into Hell as well.
... that he at least won ... Again, the word "won" is inappropriate. Won would mean a triumph or victory, neither of which Lucifer managed to gain for himself and his followers. Nor will he EVER gain for himself and his followers. He was defeated at the Cross!
...his own kingdom. Again, another lie. What he has is no kingdom. What was given to Lucifer was merely a holding cell for he and his minions, the timing and type of which is completely created and controlled by God. Even in his so-called "kingdom of Earth," where Lucifer is allowed to have "principalities and powers," he still doesn't have complete control. He is only given as much rope as God allows him to have, and because believing Christians in the world act as a barrier against the evils and ravages of what Lucifer, in his anger, would love to mete out against humanity, in the end, Alinsky was dead wrong: Lucifer has no power at all!
Since as of June 12, 1972, Mr. Alinsky is no longer with us, unless he managed a death bed repentence and confession, he is undoubtedly reaping what he sewed in this life...and unfortunately, he will have a very, very long and toasty time to think about his actions.
It makes me so angry that this stupid girl pulled such a stupid stunt, just before the elections, and of course, claims psychological problems (that seems to always be the standard "out").
After all that, the waste of time, and police manpower, now SHE is going to be charged with filing a false police report, a misdemeanor, and may face more charges (like a hate crime?).
Next stop: JAIL for Ashley. And deservedly so, no matter what party she belongs to.
Man. Time is so short. Between some people thinking that Obama has either paved the way for, or outright fulfills the characterisitcs of the anti-christ, the hair-trigger craziness of the Middle East, the precipice-like edge we find ourselves on as far as global finances, morality and values, it's no wonder that it feels like we've got the Biblical "pedal to the metal" lately. Things seem to be happening at a breakneck speed.
Were Obama elected, we might do well to read this "letter from the future" giving us a look at how our country might be changing over the next 4 years:
After visiting a couple other sites, including this Ashley Todd's own website, I have my doubts about her story and here's why:
The "B" is backward on her face, so the "correct" way to view it is in a mirror! (altho' it has been mentioned that if the attacker carved it while holding her upside down, it would be a forward "B", but that is stretching things)
After the "attack," she refused medical help. Why?
Being a lifelong makeup and cosmetics devotee, I can tell you that her black eyes look suspiciously...well, black. As in makeup black. As in she-did-it-herself. Real black eyes are more reddish/purple/blue, not black/gray. See pictures here, here and here for proof.
I went to her website where her Twitter updates sound suspiciously like those cell phone calls that Walker Railey used back in the day as he's trying to cover his tracks after he killed his wife, Peggy ("I'm on my mo-byle phone...") Not that the two situations are at all similar, but the M.O. is suspiciously familiar.

And from her own MySpace page (careful, those things will come back to bite you):
"Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her cloths [sic] off, but it's better if you do."
Oh that's nice. Way to make mom proud, Ashley. The girl thinks lying is "fun." Hmm. Everything about this story brings up a red flag. Even Michelle Malkin doesn't believe her! I know I know the Left are known for busting up McCain signage and such, but this doesn't smell right. And it really angers me that someone would be so stupid as to do this and bring down the credibility the GOP is struggling to hold onto at this time! It's infuriating! Mark my words: she will be found out, and if she's lying, she should be prosecuted. And for her, that will NOT be fun, with or without clothes.
No matter what Palin wears, she's going to get slammed for it Poor Sarah Palin. Some media outlets are griping because (they say) she has a "6-figure wardrobe;" however, you can bet your bottom dollar (pun intended) that were she to shop at TJMaxx or Marshalls or Target, she'd be raked over the coals for her tackiness as well. No matter what she wears, and where she shops, she'll be vilified for it. She can't win.
Sorry folks, I'm taking the lazy way out this week. Been slammed with a bad cold since returning from my trip to Wisconsin, so I haven't much felt like dealing with the details of this week's news. But here are a few tidbits that should hold you over:
He's young, very intelligent, understands the mechanics of our country's financial situation, (he's also very good looking!), and was once a speech writer for Bill Bennett and Jack Kemp, and worked with Sam Brownback of Kansas.
In his words, if we don't do something radical--and do it NOW--our country will go bankrupt, and we will become a society more financially destitute than even Europe.
I PRAY this man runs for President some day; he's already got my vote! I have to give my own DAD a big "shout out" for turning me onto this amazing young man, one I will definitely be keeping my eye on in the months to come. :)
You're a smart guy. What are you thinking? Do you not see the facts in front of you that have been laid out about this person?
Powell, a retired general, described Obama as a "transformational figure."
Transformational, yes. But that transformation may not necessarily be a good thing.
"He has both style and substance," Powell said in an appearance on NBC. "Obama has displayed a steadiness; showed intellectual vigor. He has a definitive way of doing business that will do us well."
Style? Okay, I'll give him that, but substance? I wholeheartedly disagree. The guy is an empty suit. Stylish, but empty.
And a "definite" way of doing business? Sure, if you like doing business in the USSR, Comrade Powell.
Please don't make me start thinking that you're endorsing him because he's black...but when I hear news like this, it does make me wonder. Oh but wait, I think you just answered my question right here (from CNN):
...citing the Democrat's "ability to inspire" and the "inclusive nature of his campaign."
Some of the best audience questions were asked at this rally, but the two that stuck out--and the two who have now gone on to YouTube and Internet fame--are the "angry man," and James Harris, a local black conservative talk show host.
That's right, I said it: black and conservative in the same sentence. O_o
There are a few out there, though sad to say, besides James (who told McCain that he's taken an "ass whooping" from his detractors), the only other black conservatives I can think of I can count on ONE hand: Michael Steele, J.C. Watts, Alan Keyes, Condie Rice, and Colin Powell (tho it seems this may be changing). Why is that? Do people of color see ONLY color in candidates, and refuse to hear the truth? Why that seems small minded and, dare I say it, racist!
Poor James, since the rally, he has actually received death threats about where he stands. But McCain must have taken James' plea to heart, because he definitely came out stronger in this last debate than the other two!
It was a very exciting day; I got to spend time with my parents, the weather was absolutely stunning, the people in line (about 5,000!) were warm and friendly, and the Obama protestors were few and far between. Almost the perfect day, IMO!
For those of you who are still sitting on the fence (and of all elections, that seems like quite a stretch this late in the game), here are just some of the websites and blogs that bring up important points of why Obama should NOT become president of our country:
I'm glad that this is a speech I will never hear in my lifetime, but felt I had to post it here because the "Bush" in this version brings up all the important topics that have been all but ignored by the MSM and all things Liberal. They really just don't get it.
-----
The following 'speech' was apparently written recently by a resident of Maine. While satirical in nature, all satire must have a basis in fact to be effective. This is an excellent piece by a person who does not write for a living.
Theresignation speech George W. Bushshould give:
Normally, I start these things out by saying 'My Fellow Americans.' Not doing it this time.If the polls are any indication, I don't know who more than half of you are anymore.I do know something terrible has happened, and that you're really not fellow Americans any longer.
I'll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you:no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses have occurred in this office.Unlike my predecessor.
The reason I'm quitting is simple. I'm fed up with you people.I'm fed up because you have no understanding of what's really going on in the world. Or of what's going on in this once-great nation of ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.
Let's start local. You've been sold a bill of goods by politicians and the news media.Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there's increased demand in other parts of the world, because of oil speculators, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security.
We face real threats in the world. Don't give me this 'blood for oil' thing. If I were trading blood for oil I would've already seized Iraq's oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell. And don't give me this 'Bush Lied...People Died' crap either. If I were the liar you morons take me for, I could have easily had chemical weapons planted inIraqso they could be 'discovered.' Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty.
Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the goods, same as me.Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named Clinton established that policy.Bet you didn't know that t, did you? Now some of you morons want to be led by a junior senator with no understanding of foreign policy or economics, and this nitwit says we should attackPakistan, a nuclear ally. And then he wants to go to Iran and make peace with a terrorist who says he's going to destroy us. While he's doing that, he wants to give Iraq to al Qaeda, Afghanistan to the Taliban, Israel to the Palestinians, and your money to the IRS so the government can give welfare to illegal aliens, who he will make into citizens, so they can vote to re-elect him. He also thinks we just need to sit down and talk to Iran and things would be better (what the hell do you think we have been doing behind the scenes?), and we should stop our foreign aid to Israel. Did you sleep through high school or what?
You need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to outspend and out-tech them.
That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. But they are. They want to kill you, and they are all over the globe, even in our country.
You should be grateful that they haven't gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11. But you're not. That's because you've got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law enforcement, and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that. When this whole mess started,I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I'm disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of 'Survivor.'
Instead, you've grown impatient. You're incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few weeks or a few months, tops.Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat's political campaign, well, you might just as well FedEx a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.
In this day and age, it's easy enough to find the truth. It's all over the Internet. It just isn't on the pages of the New York Times, USA Today, or on any of the mainstream news media outlets. But even if it were, I doubt you'd be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol or Dancing with Stars.
I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you're too stupid to leave a city that's below sea level and has a hurricane approaching.
I could say more about your belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I've come to the conclusion that were I to do so, it would sail right over your heads.
So I quit. I'm going back to Crawford. I've got an energy-efficient house down there that Al Gore could only dream of having, and the capability to be fully self-sufficient for years. No one ever heard of Crawford before I got elected, and as soon as I'm done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.
Oh, and by the way, Cheney's quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there are just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008. Some of you know what I mean. The rest of you need to pull your heads out of your asses.
So that's it. God bless what's left of America.
Oh, and you might want to brush up on your Farsi and buy a Koran.Obama already has his copy.
FINALLY. John McCain got himself some chutzpah and came out swinging during debate #3, and Obama clearly seemed rattled at some of the responses McCain fired his way. I can only hope and pray that this helps narrow the gap between the two as we go into the home stretch. I know the Dems will be pulling out all stops to smear McCain and Palin running up to election day. Here are a few post-debate articles and other items:
With the Dow taking another tumble today, people more than ever are watching every penny in this financial crisis. And I have a feeling it may become worse before it gets better!
Moreover, people are also calling out to God during this strange and unsettling time.
This is very scary news, but obviously is the wave of the future, especially since Muslims are now pushing the envelope when it comes to anything involving Islam (i.e., foot baths, time out for prayer, etc.). However, it seems that telling outright lies about Islam's "influence" on the world should send up all sorts of red flags to everyone, yet I can guarantee that this will be cowtowed to like so many other Islam-related issues.
Oh, and this is happening courtesy of our taxpayer dollars, naturally.
Nobama is so wishy washy about his faith (whether Muslim or Christian, geez, just pick one!), as well as being very opaque about his background, so why should his attempt at pushing faith be any surprise?
According to the Bible, there will be an attack against Israel by its 'neighbors' (and I use that term loosely) but it will result in their own destruction, as God will sovereignly protect Israel from harm. Sounds far fetched? With God, all things are possible!
This part is true: Israel will not wait to be destroyed if they have firm facts of an impending strike! Israel has always said it will not wait for the bomb to be ready.
War in the middle east, surrounding Israel will only stop when the antichrist declares a 7-year peace plan (and then, it will only last half that time), and when Christ returns to a new Jerusalem and a new Earth. Until then, war in the middle east will be a part of our lives.
According to Newsweek (part of the 'elitists' of the Left), Sarah Palin is too 'common' and too stupid (like the rest of us?!) to be Vice President. Oh, and she's 'dangerous' to boot.
Well, them's fighting words. So I sent a response to Newsweek:

Subject: Response to Jon Meacham's Oct. 4 cover article on Sarah Palin
Wow. Mr. Meacham's elitist viewpoint and lack of both respect, and facts, in your cover story on Sarah Palin is so obviously biased, it stunned me. Mr. Meacham needs to do a bit more fact-checking before he writes. And he obviously does not put any faith whatsoever into our Constitution, because if he had bothered to check, he would have found that the qualifications for president of the United States stated in the U.S. Constitution, Article 2, Section 1 are these: "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."
THAT'S IT. Ms. Palin meets all of these qualifications, plus she has the experience of both a mayor and governor of our nation's largest state. Mr. Mecham may also want to check into the backgrounds of the following and their own lack of experience: Bill Clinton spent 3 terms as governor of Arkansas, but had no federal or foreign policy credentials. If the Dems are so committed to foreign policy experience, why could they not find a more qualified opponent to take on George H.W. Bush? Even the New York Times's (Tom Friedman 10/4/92) said about Bill Clinton: "Under the pressure of a Presidential campaign, Gov. Bill Clinton has been trying to outline his own unique foreign policy, while at the same time fending off criticism from the Bush White House that he is a closet dove masquerading as a hawk and that his experience in world affairs is limited to breakfast at the International House of Pancakes." Also, Jimmy Carter, Spiro Agnew, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Woodrow Wilson all had little, if any, foreign policy experience before entering office.
You state in your article: "Do we want leaders who are everyday folks, or do we want leaders who understand everyday folks?"
Be careful, Mr. Meacham. The American public are not some kind of brainless drones, we actually think for ourselves, and we are looking for someone like us. Sarah Palin fultills both of those points, and is precisely the reason why she is revered by middle America!
Mr. Meacham also states: "Jackson, Lincoln, Truman, Eisenhower, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan and Clinton were born to ordinary families, but they spent their lives doing extraordinary things, demonstrating an interest in, and a curiosity about, the world around them. This is much less evident in Palin's case."
Really?!? How so? By whose standards, Mr. Mecham – surely not YOURS? The fact that she's lived her entire life as an achiever--basketball, college, journalist, beauty contests, a MOTHER OF FIVE, a Mayor and a Governor?—by those standards, what on earth could you then possibly call "extraordinary?" Personally I do call that extraordinary, if not downright amazing. Bill Clinton ran to Europe to escape the draft. I call that cowardice.
Mr. Meacham, your article is one of the most blatant illustrations of contempt, foolishness, partiality and snobbery that I have ever come across. You should be ashamed to call yourself a "journalist," because impartial you are not. It's painfully obvious that you're nothing more than just another shill for the liberal left. And those of us "Joe/Jane Six-Packs" and middle Americans are sick and tired of it. We're watching you very closely, and yes, we're "mad as hell and we're not taking it any more!"
