After reports that Democratic Party candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle promised their young daughters that they could have a dog after the election, the AKC polled the US public to find out what kind of canine would be most suitable for the possible first family."

Personally: YIKES.
So what kind of dog would McCain or Palin have for the Whitehouse? How about:
A golden retriever.
An Alaskan Husky!
An Alaskan Malamute! (tho they shed a LOT from what I hear)
Or best of all...just an adorable mutt: :-D
