SO VERY SAD TODAY

After a somewhat sleepless night, filled with all sorts of strange dreams, I awoke this morning with the cloud of dread and depression still hanging over me that began yesterday morning. My heart is heavy and my stomach is in knots over Obama's win. To say I am stunned beyond belief would be putting it mildly. But the people, in all their blindness and ignorance, have spoken. And they have elected one of the youngest and least experienced presidents ever, one who also happens to be THE MOST leftist president this country has ever known. Our founding fathers would be appalled to say the least. They never foresaw the country this way.

While I applaud Obama on his amazingly historical win, being the first black man ever to be elected POTUS, it will take me a very long time until I can say the words "President Obama" out loud. I feel as if I am in an alternate universe, or "Bizarro World" where up is down and down is up; right is wrong and wrong is right. I've never cared that Obama is black, in fact I never paid much attention to the fact; but what I did care about was his views, his votes, and his vision, all of which I feel are going to be very detrimental to this country. As such, I would like to add a quote from a friend's email sent this morning:

"The majority of people in the United Socialists of America have finally done away with the one true God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and have replaced our Messiah with a new messiah - Barak Obama - "The One." In their passion, the people voted for socialism over capitalism, death over life, and defeat over victory. Now we have the Left in complete control from the top down. They will implement redistribution of wealth, continue with abortion on demand, and bring our troops home even though the job is not finished thus putting us in great danger here at home. The United States of America was a good place to live while it existed. The people have lost their way and we have lost our country."

None are so blind as those who will not see. May God have mercy on our nation.
