Palin uninvited from anti-Iran rally

Talk about spoiled brats! The dems are sure good at throwing hissy fits. Sarah Palin was INVITED to speak at this rally, then Hillary, who had also accepted earlier, cancelled because Palin was going to be there...so the dems complained and whined until Palin herself was UNinvited to this rally. Nice.

Palin uninvited from rally
Posted: 06:54 PM ET

(CNN) — Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has been uninvited from a rally against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad next week in New York, one day after Hillary Clinton declined her invitation because the Alaska governor was slated to be there.

“In order to keep the focus on Iranian threats and to ensure that this critical message not be obscured, the organizers of the rally have decided not to have any American political personalities appear,” the organizers, which include several Jewish groups, said in a written statement.

John McCain issued a statement expressing disappointment over the decision.

“Governor Palin was pleased to accept an invitation to address this rally and show her resolve on this grave national security issue, regrettably that invitation has since been withdrawn under pressure from Democratic partisans,” he said.

Naturally CNN's coverage of this story pales in comparison to most, so here is a more fleshed out version.

Don't blink or you'll miss this one

Wow. A liberal who is NOT for same sex marriage.

'Scuze me while I pick myself up off the floor.

Poor guy, I am sure he was strung up for that article. In the LA Times, no less!

Hurrah for the Farmers Branch police!

This is a huge coup for drug enforcement agencies. And much of it was headed up by our own neighbor, Farmers Branch, where the one and only Tim O'Hare was recently elected Mayor, based on his campaign to end illegal immigration in his city.

Interstate 35 is the cartel's prime trafficking route, and Dallas (Farmers Branch) is its key distribution point, authorities say. Cartel associates are believed to be responsible for several slayings in the Dallas area in recent years.

So Palin has no foreign policy experience? Neither did these guys

The first of a series. This one is about Bill Clinton.

Possible Upset on the Democratic Ticket!

If this truly does happen, this may spell doom for the GOP ticket. I've seen several sources that have reiterated this topic.

Here (where it may have started)
Here
Here

This site contends that the whole thing is merely a spoof (which I hope it is), and the ever popular (but increasingly left-leaning) Snopes.com calls it "undetermined." HOWEVER, as things tend to go on the "interwebs," this is a re-run of a very similar type of email that went out in 2000 when Bush picked Cheney as his VP:

I just heard a rumor from a good source. The Republican party is feeling that Cheney is a liability on the ticket. There's a rumor that a few weeks prior to the election in a desperate attempt to win, Cheney will resign because of a trumped up heart problem or potential "threat to his health." Then either John McCain or Colin Powell will be asked to come on the ticket and save the party.

Incest Joke Falls Flat In Sketch Lampooning Palin

I realize that SNL, once intelligent, biting and hilarious, has become nothing more than a sophomoric C-level attempt at bathroom humor, but this is taking things too far, and is becoming all to typical of SNL.

I'm just thankful that Chevy Chase is no longer on the show!

VERY IMPORTANT - LEFT USING BIG PR FIRM

This is a very important article thoroughly researched and written by the folks at mypetjawa.mu.nu.

Not only does the left have the Hollyweird set in their pocket, but apparently some big PR firms as well, and they are using some very underhanded and surreptitious ways of trying to get their point across.

Unfortunately for them, nothing on the web is ever really "gone" even when you try to erase your steps (a word of warning to us all).

If Fox News doesn't happen to run with this one, it's highly doubtful that any other news outlet will touch this with a 10 foot pole.

Lame WaPo Hit Piece on Todd Palin

That is, Todd Palin as "First Dude."

Something they probably would not be calling Bill Clinton if Hillary had been in the running.

Olmert Steps Down - Now What?

Yet another Israel Prime Minister steps down.

With all of the "warring factions" within Israel itself, they're never going to find one person who will embody what everyone wants.

That is, until the antichrist comes on the scene.

Christian Groups Invitation to Ahmadinejad

I'm shocked as well. This sounds like it might be a good thing in theory, but these groups are pacifists and anti-Israel, and believe that a good dialogue will solve all of the world's disagreements. It's the Neville Chamberlain thought process.

Unfortunately, this does not work with someone of Imademonjob's ilk. This "talk" will get them nowhere except for to add more fuel to the fire of "those stupid Americans need to be wiped off the planet."

Just having this guy on American soil is a very bad idea as well.

Big Brother reaching new levels of surveillance

This was posted on a rather left-leaning website called "opednews."

Little did this author realize that he was stating the obvious, as far as how things will be (or, ARE already in UK) be functioning as we roll along in the End Times. This shows a classic case of "big brother"...and makes me not want to venture to London any time soon.

Time to wake up, Roland!

NEW ACRONYM FOR LIBERALS

IMBECILE = Incogitant* Marxist whose Beliefs Embrace Communistic Ideology and Liberal Elitism

Although this might seem harsh by some people's standards (and some might say, "it's so un-Christian!"), I don't mean this in a cruel or disparaging way, but I chose the word "imbecile" because the letters making up the word correlate so well to the various aspects of the whole Socialist-Liberal-Communist spectrum. But just for grins, let's break it down even further, shall we?

Main Entry: IMBECILE
Function: noun
Date: 1802
Etymology: French imbécile, noun, from adjective, weak, weak-minded, from Latin imbecillus, Fool; idiot.

Now let's see what "fool" means:

Main Entry: FOOL
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French fol, from late Latin follis, from Latin, bellows, bag
Date: 13th century
  • A person lacking in judgment or prudence
  • A harmlessly deranged person or one lacking in common powers of understanding
  • One with a marked propensity or fondness for something (a dancing fool)

*Incogitant means "thoughtless" or "inconsiderate."

SP: transparent ploy & second-class public servant

An oh-so-pithy OpEd piece by Hanna Shtein (not making that up), who is a Philosophy major at UW-Wisconsin Madison, writing for the Badger Herald, so take it with a grain of salt.

Typical socialiberal diatribe by a 20 year old trying to get her point across. But it's followed by several rather funny and snarky responses, one of which, from 'anonymous' I liked (but it's not quite correct - her name is Sarah Heath Palin...unless she was trying to make a point):

Anonymous (September 17, 2008 @ 7:04pm):

Where does she get off thinking she can be vice president of the United States? Up against the one million years in the Senate her opponent, Joe Biden, has logged in between expensive rides at taxpayer expense on the Acela, what can she offer? Mayor of a town of six people and ten caribou [sneer]? Miss Congeniality [sneer, sneer]? Bastard-baby-grandma [sneer, sneer, sneer]? Poster chick for "family values" [sneer, sneer, sneer, sneer]?

Sorry, I'm running out of sneers.

But, seriously, just look at the negatives: she's a popular first-term governor, she's a woman, she's happily married, she has five kids, one of them with Down's syndrome, she's a maverick, she's from way beyond the Beltway, she's taken on both the Republican Party and Big Oil, she shoots automatic weapons, she can kill a moose with a butter knife and fillet a sea lion with a smile, her husband's a roustabout Eskimo snowmobile champ, she's a hockey mom, she was Miss Wasilla, she looks like she should be playing Cecily, the saucy librarian, in Tom Stoppard's Travesties, and she doesn't wear pantsuits. Heck, she hasn't even appeared yet on Meet the Press! I mean, who in his right mind would vote for her?

Sure, if she were one of ours, not only would we have nominated her by acclamation, since she fulfills every trope of feminism except for her unfortunate and inexplicable opposition to murdering unborn children, we would also have made at least two TV movies about her life, celebrating her choice to have her fifth child and the announcement yesterday that her 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, is pregnant and is going to marry the teenage father of her child. That's the kind of heartwarming, inclusive, empowering story we love -- she's like Juno come to life as Juneau, set in Mystery, Alaska.

But she's not a Democrat, which despite her va-va-va-voom appearance, means she's not really a woman, which is one of the reasons we've spent the past four days since McCain unveiled her trying to tear her limb from limb. Just because she's the governor of a state sandwiched between two obscure and unimportant countries, Canada and Russia, and spent more time in her first five minutes visiting American troops in Iraq than Evita Barry did during his entire Rainbow Tour, what could she possibly know about foreign policy? It's not like she's John Edwards or something.

So that's why we're having our Wellstone Funeral Moment at the moment. We mean well; we promised ourselves we wouldn't go over the top with our outright loathing of the Neanderthals who preach "Christian" values while practicing Wiccanism and child sacrifice and who hate black people and gay people and want to destroy the environment just because they can, and want to amass more money than even John Kerry or Jon Corzine or Herb Kohl or Jay Rockefeller or Dianne Feinstein -- the five richest senators -- or Ted Kennedy or John Edwards or Nancy Pelosi have. That, usually, is the Kos Kidz's job. Along with speculating exactly how Bush got from My Pet Goat to planting the depth charges that blew up the levees in New Orleans.

But sometimes the mask slips and you can see -- whoops! -- how much we hate you. Normally we're against hate in all its forms, and embrace tolerance as one of our defining moral attributes. But when it comes to you conservatives, well, with the best will in the world, we just can't tolerate you. You're elitist, you're judgmental, you're hypocritical, and we know that deep down you hate us even more than we hate you. Therefore, by any means necessary, we will defeat you this fall. Voter fraud, "walking around" money, legions of lawyers, as many recounts as it takes -- bring it on!

Because we need to take back our country. We need to take it back from fascists like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, and give it back to its rightful proprietors, patriots like Henry Wallace, Sidney Hillman, Norman Thomas, Gus Hall, Karl Marx, Leon Trotsky, Joseph Stalin, Saul Alinsky, William Kunstler, Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, David Dellinger, Tom Hayden, Bobby Seale, and, yes, my guy, the Talking Parrot, you know who.

And Sarah Marshall (? Heath?) Palin stands in the way of all that. After we sent Bill n' Hill packing with their twin gold watches in Denver, we thought we had a clear playing field. The sunshine of the uplands was ours. Mother Gaia had opened wide her arms to embrace us, shunning the Orcs and the Uruk-hai of the Anti-Slavery, Anti-Segregation, Anti-Secularism, Anti-Sedition and Anti-Surrender Party. We were going up against Bob Dole and Jack Kemp, Herbert Hoover and Whoever, Daddy Bush and Dan Quayle, Gerald R. Ford and, well, Bob Dole.

Piece of cake, walk on the beach, a Renaissance Weekend in a non-denominational heaven for atheists. Until Sarah Marshall Palin showed up, bringing with her 10 million bucks for the bad guys in three days, a level of enthusiasm not seen since Ronnie was a pup, and a clear shot to Republican dominance with her and Bobby Jindal and whatever seduced and corrupted minority group is coming next for eons to come.

So that's why we hate you, Sarah Marshall Palin. We hate you because you remind the other side of their wives, their girlfriends, their daughters, and make them want to fight for you against our sneers and our smears. We hate you because you're smart and accomplished and didn't make your bones on the back of Monica Lewinsky. We hate you because you've made us forget that our last two candidates for vice president were Joe Lieberman and John Edwards, whoever they were.

We hate you because you're smart and beautiful and we wish we had women like you on our side.

We hate you.

AP: Palin brought this upon herself

You've GOT TO BE KIDDING.

The AP are using the excuse that they use in rape cases: "it's the woman's fault" that Sarah Palin got her email hacked.

This is getting dirtier and dirtier. Yeah, sure, it's all Sarah Palin's fault for using Yahoo in the first place. GIVE ME A BREAK.

Wonder what this guy would say if HIS OWN email account were hacked???

The story behind the Palin e-mail hacking

I will never understand people that do things like hack into Sarah Palin's email just because they can, and because they think it's funny.

Michelle Malkin fills us in on the Palin hacker scandal.

Son of Democratic Rep is alleged Palin hacker

BIG SURPRISE HERE: the Palin hacker is the son of a demosocialiberal.

The son of a democratic state representative from Tennessee is at the center of an online investigation into who broke in to the email account of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and shared some of its contents with the world.

HERE'S WHAT WILL HAPPEN:
  • Mr. Democratic Representative and his liberal buddies will find a way to find as many loopholes and red tape as possible to get this dismissed or brushed under the rug.
  • The kid and his lawyers will decry that he's "unfit" for trial or jail because of his "lifelong depression" and his being committed twice.
  • The kid will become even more depressed and distressed, and commit suicide, in order (he thinks) to get out of the whole mess HE CREATED.

I realize that last one is VERY HARSH, but we always hear stories where the antagonist does this very thing to "escape" the law. I just hope and pray it does not come to that. But this kid is messed up and needs to have consequences of some kind.

Columnist labels Palin backers 'White Trash'

That's funny...I KNOW I'm not white trash, and I'm fully behind Sarah Palin!

But if Palin backers are "white trash," then I guess I'm glad to be that. :)

This proves the depths of depravity that the left will stoop to in order to embarrass the Right. I realize there is no real privacy law on the books about this kind of thing, but come on! This is outrageous. This is not a "free speech" issue! These people should get their pants sued off at the very least!

This is exactly the kind of thing that PROVES that the left should not be in charge of this country, as they obviously cannot follow any kind of rules or regulations, and continue to act like anarchists.

If anything, this gives people like me EVEN MORE RESOLVE TO VOTE FOR MCCAIN COME NOVEMBER!

The 'Savage' Nation - Michael Savage interview

While I don't always agree with Michael Savage ("The Savage Nation" radio show, and "savage" it is, at times), I know he's no dummy. He's multi-degree'd, has a very long and robust history, and most interestingly, was once a Democrat...until he saw the light. :) He touts himself as an independent, but I think he's independent with a right-leaning bent.

Here is an interview with Newsmax. Toward the bottom of the interview Savage has a couple of very observant things to say about Obama:

Newsmax: Do you think she’s (Sarah Palin) affected Barack Obama’s psyche?

Savage: Yes, absolutely, in one major way. He was the center of attention; he’s a narcissist and he’s used to being adored. The minute she came along and she became the center of attention, the narcissist in him started to flail out and make mistakes, such as the pig and the lipstick comment, which I spent the whole show on, analyzing him, claiming he has an Oedipal complex and he has a woman problem. But that’s a little off topic here. Absolutely, she is upsetting him because she is now the center of attention, not him. And like a petulant adolescent, he’s starting to look very, very, very boyish and he’s also starting to say things that are not very presidential.

Newsmax: You’re giving him a little psychoanalysis.

Savage: Oh yeah, I spent all day on this yesterday, on the Oedipal complex, and what it means from a Freudian perspective, and why he has a woman problem. It’s a fact that his mother was flighty and often abandoned him to pursue other men, to pursue men and her studies, and left him with the grandparents. He’s always been sort of like an abandoned boy.

OF COURSE this is the reason!

We all know this has been thought by the Left, but never really voiced, until now.

This type of reasoning pretty much sums things up.

Yeah...we're ALL racists...that's the ticket.

No Smoking Hot Spot!
David Evans | July 18, 2008

I DEVOTED six years to carbon accounting, building models for the Australian Greenhouse Office. I am the rocket scientist who wrote the carbon accounting model (FullCAM) that measures Australia's compliance with the Kyoto Protocol, in the land use change and forestry sector. FullCAM models carbon flows in plants, mulch, debris, soils and agricultural products, using inputs such as climate data, plant physiology and satellite data. I've been following the global warming debate closely for years.

When I started that job in 1999 the evidence that carbon emissions caused global warming seemed pretty good: CO2 is a greenhouse gas, the old ice core data, no other suspects. The evidence was not conclusive, but why wait until we were certain when it appeared we needed to act quickly? Soon government and the scientific community were working together and lots of science research jobs were created. We scientists had political support, the ear of government, big budgets, and we felt fairly important and useful (well, I did anyway). It was great. We were working to save the planet.

But since 1999 new evidence has seriously weakened the case that carbon emissions are the main cause of global warming, and by 2007 the evidence was pretty conclusive that carbon played only a minor role and was not the main cause of the recent global warming. As Lord Keynes famously said, "When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, sir?"

There has not been a public debate about the causes of global warming and most of the public and our decision makers are not aware of the most basic salient facts:

  1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it. Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.
  2. If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. So we know for sure that carbon emissions are not a significant cause of the global warming. If we had found the greenhouse signature then I would be an alarmist again.
  3. When the signature was found to be missing in 2007 (after the latest IPCC report), alarmists objected that maybe the readings of the radiosonde thermometers might not be accurate and maybe the hot spot was there but had gone undetected. Yet hundreds of radiosondes have given the same answer, so statistically it is not possible that they missed the hot spot.
  4. Recently the alarmists have suggested we ignore the radiosonde thermometers, but instead take the radiosonde wind measurements, apply a theory about wind shear, and run the results through their computers to estimate the temperatures. They then say that the results show that we cannot rule out the presence of a hot spot. If you believe that you'd believe anything.
  5. There is no evidence to support the idea that carbon emissions cause significant global warming. None. There is plenty of evidence that global warming has occurred, and theory suggests that carbon emissions should raise temperatures (though by how much is hotly disputed) but there are no observations by anyone that implicate carbon emissions as a significant cause of the recent global warming.
  6. The satellites that measure the world's temperature all say that the warming trend ended in 2001, and that the temperature has dropped about 0.6C in the past year (to the temperature of 1980). Land-based temperature readings are corrupted by the "urban heat island" effect: urban areas encroaching on thermometer stations warm the micro-climate around the thermometer, due to vegetation changes, concrete, cars, houses. Satellite data is the only temperature data we can trust, but it only goes back to 1979. NASA reports only land-based data, and reports a modest warming trend and recent cooling. The other three global temperature records use a mix of satellite and land measurements, or satellite only, and they all show no warming since 2001 and a recent cooling.
  7. The new ice cores show that in the past six global warmings over the past half a million years, the temperature rises occurred on average 800 years before the accompanying rise in atmospheric carbon. Which says something important about which was cause and which was effect.

None of these points are controversial. The alarmist scientists agree with them, though they would dispute their relevance. The last point was known and past dispute by 2003, yet Al Gore made his movie in 2005 and presented the ice cores as the sole reason for believing that carbon emissions cause global warming. In any other political context our cynical and experienced press corps would surely have called this dishonest and widely questioned the politician's assertion. Until now the global warming debate has merely been an academic matter of little interest. Now that it matters, we should debate the causes of global warming.

So far that debate has just consisted of a simple sleight of hand: show evidence of global warming, and while the audience is stunned at the implications, simply assert that it is due to carbon emissions. In the minds of the audience, the evidence that global warming has occurred becomes conflated with the alleged cause, and the audience hasn't noticed that the cause was merely asserted, not proved.

If there really was any evidence that carbon emissions caused global warming, don't you think we would have heard all about it ad nauseam by now? The world has spent $50 billion on global warming since 1990, and we have not found any actual evidence that carbon emissions cause global warming. Evidence consists of observations made by someone at some time that supports the idea that carbon emissions cause global warming. Computer models and theoretical calculations are not evidence, they are just theory.

What is going to happen over the next decade as global temperatures continue not to rise? The Labor Government is about to deliberately wreck the economy in order to reduce carbon emissions. If the reasons later turn out to be bogus, the electorate is not going to re-elect a Labor government for a long time. When it comes to light that the carbon scare was known to be bogus in 2008, the ALP is going to be regarded as criminally negligent or ideologically stupid for not having seen through it. And if the Liberals support the general thrust of their actions, they will be seen likewise. The onus should be on those who want to change things to provide evidence for why the changes are necessary. The Australian public is eventually going to have to be told the evidence anyway, so it might as well be told before wrecking the economy.

Social networking surpasses porn on the web

While I laud this possible 'dethroning' of porn on the web, I will say that social networking does not mean that we are actually more 'social.'

It's merely another superficial way of relating to others. It's keeping others at a distance, doesn't make for deep meaningful relationships, and is merely a symptom of the rampant self-involvement of people today.

Palin 'Inflicts' Her Religion on US

Really?

Is Sarah Palin pushing, inflicting or forcing her religion on anyone, really?

Apparently this woman thinks so.

When it's THEIR viewpoint, it's OK

Jill Greenberg again.

Isn't it interesting that as a member of the left, Ms. Greenberg may very well be the same type of person who uses HER OWN ARGUMENT about making children cry, against parents who choose to spank (not BEAT) their children.

"Maybe getting kids to cry isn't the nicest thing to do, but I'm not causing anyone permanent psychological damage."

HOW DOES SHE KNOW??? So arrogant! So disdainful. So hypocritical!

HUMILIATE, NOT EDUCATE

I've stolen the phrase "humiliate, not educate" from Dennis Prager, from just today. It might also be "humiliate, rather than illuminate."

Dennis states that after seeing the (chopped up) interview of Sarah Palin by Charlie Gibson, this is the not-so-new mantra of the mainstream media as it relates to anyone on the right, especially if that someone happens to be in the political arena (see my post on photographer Jill Greenberg).

Rather than being objective and impartial journalistically, the MSM blatantly chooses to skew and distort a person's words to fit their own agenda. "Gotcha" and phony questions about the "Bush doctrine" shows Mr. Gibson's own ignorance and philosophy, especially when Sarah Palin managed to stay calm and collected in her responses, rather than to lean over and throttle Mr. Gibson, which is what most of us would have done!

GIBSON: Do you agree with the Bush doctrine?

PALIN: In what respect, Charlie?

GIBSON: The Bush — well, what do you — what do you interpret it to be?

PALIN: His world view?

GIBSON: No, the Bush doctrine, enunciated September 2002, before the Iraq war.

…

GIBSON: Do we have a right to anticipatory self-defense? Do we have a right to make a preemptive strike again another country if we feel that country might strike us?

PALIN: Charlie, if there is legitimate and enough intelligence that tells us that a strike is imminent against American people, we have every right to defend our country. In fact, the president has the obligation, the duty to defend.

Wow. Apparently the "Bush doctrine" has been around for THOUSANDS of years, then, because leaders and countries all the way back to Caesar have followed this particular line of thought in times of war! Who knew?

Atlantic 'Appalled' by Lib Photog's Altered McCain Pics

This is what happens when you hire a "hard core" liberal to take pictures for your magazine.

Yep, she's a keeper! No shame, no remorse. Here are 2 quotes from the article that get to the gist of it:

This tells us a lot about what kind of ethics Greenberg believes the Left approves of.

We should worry if that mindset really does gain power.

From Wikipedia (so take with a grain of salt):

McCain photo controversy

Greenberg was contracted by The Atlantic to shoot a picture of John McCain for the magazine's October, 2008 cover. She admitted to deliberately shooting the images to cause McCain to appear unfavorably, by placing a strobe light on the ground in order to make McCain look more sinister. She stated that it was her intention to "stir stuff up.". Greenberg also posted to her website altered versions of photographs she had taken of McCain showing him in an unfavorable light, including an image of McCain with bleeding vampire teeth with the caption "I am a bloodthirsty warmonger." Her behavior was described as "incredibly unprofessional" by James Bennet, the Atlantic's editor. Greenberg was unapologetic, stating "Some of my artwork has been pretty anti-Bush, so maybe it was somewhat irresponsible for [The Atlantic] to hire me."

This is so typical. Immaturity and raw hatred. Blames the Atlantic for HER OWN ACTIONS. She can't even be professional with a presidential candidate. Although you can BET that if Obama were in her studio, the photos would be glowing with adoration and "virtue!"

Another typical response to Sarah Palin from a feminist on the left.

Mankind’s greatest experiment ???

Sometimes the most brilliant minds really are the most clueless. WHY should we even bother to know this information???

This is what happens when the entire planet is more or less held hostage by a few "mad" scientists who insist that ONLY THEY KNOW WHAT'S BEST and they ("we") NEED TO KNOW THE ANSWER, therefore, billions upon billions of dollars are spent creating a machine that MIGHT give us some kind of answer to the "mysteries of the universe."

But it's all for naught! What they don't understand is that WE. WILL. NEVER. KNOW.

Like the human body, when it comes to the universe, God has created mysteries inside riddles wrapped in enigmas. The perfection and exquisitely minute details of the universe, as well as the "stuff" that holds everything together, both within and without, CANNOT be known by mankind because our tiny human minds are simply unable to grasp or fathom things that are so far beyond us. This is shown in the Book of Job:

Job 38 (this is the Lord speaking to Job, chastising him for "shaking his fist" at God):

Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand.

Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it?

On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?

Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion?

Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs?

Do you know the laws of the heavens?

Can you set up God's dominion over the earth?

Isn't it a wonderful society we live in when multimillionaire rap artists are known for their "street cred," i.e., "...the number of entries on their rap sheet, the time they have spent behind bars, or the gritty details of their illicit escapades."

If that isn't some kind of screwed up role model, then I don't know what is.

Add that to the standard Hollyweird/Britney stuff. Ugh.

DEMS SINK TO NEW LOWS

OK, the dems are sinking lower and lower when it comes to Sarah Palin. Just when you think things can't get worse, we have these two items:

A fake eBay post about Sarah Palin "auctioning" off Trig!

Worse yet, a blog (courtesy of Blogger/Google) called "I miss my Mommy," created by those who call themselves "feminists" and claim to be "pro-women"!

It's just
SICK. And these are the people who insist that Obama should be our next president??? This, after doing other things like slashing the tires of Republicans during voting, trashing the Whitehouse upon departure from office, doing everything they can to denigrate our president, humiliate our military, and embarrass our country, plus myriad other activities...why would they think that the country would actually want someone like that running the country? Are they blind? Are they out of touch? Are they crazy? Are they evil?

I think the answer would have to be YES, on all accounts. I believe many of them are.

Tens of Thousands of Iraqis Could Come to U.S.

OK...and if they abide by our laws and rules and learn to assimilate into our society, and not live in self-imposed, alientated, hard-core cliques, then I say: COME ON DOWN!

Judge Halts Immigrant Rental Ban in Dallas Suburb

Here we go again. Another judge trying to MAKE legislation instead of holding up constitutional law!

Funny, but...I seem to recall that when I filled out my lease application (and job applications!), I WAS ASKED if I was a U.S. citizen.

Things that make you go hmmm...

Singing 'la-la-la' won't make jihadists go away

Fantastic article by Richard Littlejohn (the DailyMail, a British newspaper), about England's lack of a backbone in fighting terrorism from within. Sounds awfully familiar...something we are experiencing here in the States as well!

Among other great tidbits in this article is this paragraph:

...
We shouldn't read too much into their sermons about it being the holy duty of all Muslims to kill Jews, gays and dirty unbelievers. It's their culture, innit? When deranged lunatics marched through London bearing placards calling for the beheading and murder of infidels, we were told by the 'diversity' brigade that it wasn't anything to worry about, just a bit of high spirits.

Christ said in the last days, the earth would be blinded by a great delusion...I'm thinking that this may very well be part of that delusion!

Wow...Ike looks like another bad hurricane, and this one is about to hit the Texas coast!

Medvedev would attack Georgia even if on NATO track

And the world gets mad at the US when we go against the U.N.

I guess being a part of NATO holds no water for Russia, either.

Saudi: OK to kill owners of 'immoral' TV networks

Being owners of "immoral" TV networks is one thing, they do have a lot to answer for, but "immoral" in this case is relative, and the outright murder of another is never justified for its own sake!

The NAU - it's coming

The NAU, or, North American Union, is on its way to being reality! Borders are already being erased between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, forming one large "union" not unlike like the EU. Bush, Vicente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, have already held a series of 3 secret meetings about this very issue, and have all signed agreements putting the wheels for this union into motion. A horrifying thught to be sure, but make no mistake, it's coming. PAY ATTENTION to the following terms, as they will soon become familiar:
  • NAFTA Superhighway
  • International Mid-Continent Trade Corridor
  • Trans-Texas Corridor
  • CANAMEX Corridor
  • Amero coin
Though there has been much "hue and cry" over border issues, illegal aliens, and lack of security, and more recently, the the reality is, without the public's knowledge, plans are forging ahead to make the NAU a reality. Already the pieces are falling into place. The players (Cintra-Zachry of Spain) have already been chosen to build the enormous 12-lane superhighway called the "Trans-Texas Corridor" or the NAFTA Superhighway. There will be another Mexico-US-Canada highway called the "Canamex Corridor," that will start in Mexico City and enter the US through Arizona, ending in Edmonton, Canada. Note the very first sentence on the Canamex website: "Since its inception in 1995..." That's 13 years ago, but I have heard guests on various radio programs who are much more familiar with these issues, who say that the inception for the Trans-TX Corridor began as early as the 1960s.

Organizations supporting supercorridors:
North American SuperCorridor Coalition (NASCO)
North American Forum on Integration
NAFTA of course

Nasco's map of highways

Also, it looks like the "Amero" coin is in the works as well. Apparently there are some of these coins in circulation, HOWEVER, they are not (yet) legal tender, and are merely shown currently as "fantasy" coins. Interestingly, though, the artist of these coins, one Daniel Carr, also created several other coin designs, two of which, for New York and Rhode Island, became actual state quarters. As well, it looks like the NAU logo is already being used by South Carolina!

Quote: "...the hologram of the continent was the creation of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization that, according to the group's website, "develops model programs in motor vehicle administration, law enforcement and highway safety." http://www.aamva.org/

A North American Union, along with the European Union, are just two steps closer to putting all countries under ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT. I predict that there soon will be several more types of "unions," such as a Baltic Union (eastern Europe, and all the "stans"- aka "Gog"), a Cino-Russe Union (Russia, China - aka "Magog"), and a PanAsian Union (Oz, N. Zealand, N. Guinea, Indonesia, India, Singapore), though I'm unsure where to put S. America and Africa.

Racism crosses ALL ethnicities

It's amazing that the left's favorite battle cry, "racism," is never given a long hard look in the mirror. It's as if racism, any form of racism, comes ONLY from the right (meaning, mostly whites), the right is the ONLY group that ever spews racists comments or thoughts, diatribes.

While I agree there are many whites who are blatantly racist about many people, what people don't understand is that JUST BEING HUMAN makes one racist to a degree. It's our sinful, impure human nature, and fear of the unknown, that gets in the way. What we don't know, we fear, and more times that not, fear is the seed of racism, amongst many other things.

By one merely saying that he or she isn't racist doesn't necessarily make it true. We're always going to have prejudices of one type or another. What we like/don't like, what we're comfortable or uncomfortable with, our way of life, how we were brought up, our politics and religious affiliations, how others differ from us...it's ENDLESS. However many don't understand this, so they continue to exacerbate the "only the right is racist" view, which is a stereotype in and of itself! Here is a website featuring an article on this very topic. This comment from MichelleMalkin.com, shows how some blatant racism (coming from the Left) never seems to be pointed out:

On September 8th, 2008 at 7:47 pm, RetFireman said:

Let’s discuss some “Derogatory” names that are on television, in the papers, on the radio at any time every day of every week of every month of every year…SHALL WE?

Cracka?

Whitey?

Redneck?

White-boy? [I'd also like to interject about various comments/lines in movies and TV shows where, if a white person can't dance or isn't funny/cool/hip enough, the line invariably goes: "well you ARE white, so..." Would we ever see TV show characters saying: "Well, you're black so obviously you can't do X." ??? NEVER!]

Why it is even prevalent in children’s movies. In the movie “Madagascar”, the zebra character, played by Chris Rock, loves the island sooooo much, that he claimed that it was “Cracka-lackin”.

Gee…so the reason that the island was such a paradise was because it was devoid of white people? And this is ok terminology to have in an animated children’s film?

I have heard this term used MANY times on television in various shows and NEVER spoken by anyone who was not black.

SO tell me, trolls and other race-baiters…why is there no outcry against the BLATANT racism and “Derogatory” terms that are used on a daily basis?

Would it be ok if, in the next childrens movie, a character comes out and proclaims a location to be wonderful simply because it is “N*****-lackin”?

Hypocrites. Stinking hypocrites.

Medium predicts televised UFO sighting Oct. 14

How to tell a real prophecy from a false 'prophecy.'

Apparently there is going to be a televised UFO sighting on October 14. Oooh.

Leviticus 19:31 says: "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them..."

Deuteronomy 18:12 says that consulting mediums or channeling the dead is "detestable."

Many years ago, on a lark, I went with a friend to see a medium, who she swore up and down was "the real deal." I was already very leery, but since it was only $5, I decided to check her out. Even at that time, before I was a Christian, I knew that this stuff was just a bunch of malarkey, so I was going to do my best to not give her any body language clues...and my visit confirmed it!

She was so wrong about SO many things that it was all I could do not to laugh right in her face! Right there I had my own proof that she was not the real deal, and I've lived my life very happily not ever having to visit a medium again! :)

MSM Continues its assault on Palin

Yet more subtle and not so subtle ways the MSM denigrates those whom they feel are not worthy of their respect...and of course, their favorite new bashee is Sarah Palin. Here now, is:

The GOOD:

US Weekly begs subscribers not to cancel

The BAD:

the VERY UGLY:

And the downright stupid and desperate:

Looks like CNN needs to check their facts a bit closer.

And this is pretty much sums up what the MSM thinks of Mrs. Palin. *sigh*

If you think evil doesn't exist in the world, read this

Probably one of the most disturbing articles on pedophilia I've ever read. And to think this is only ONE OF MANY OUT THERE.

Married to an upper-class pedophile: How members of the [British] Establishment refused to accept my husband's depravity

Horrifying excerpt from the article:

"Describing with relish how terrified the little girl was as he began to twist her arm prior to raping her, I noticed the people with whom Took was 'chatting' [with in a pedophile chatroom] using the acronym 'LOL'. [Detective] DS Hudson told me that it meant 'laugh out loud'."

Matthew 19:14 - ..."Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

MEDIA CONGLOMERATES

One of the ways that the anti-christ will undoubtedly use to control what is fed to the populous during his reign, is by complete control of the media. Make no mistake, this slide down the slippery slope has already begun, what with the MSM being so liberal that one cannot get an objective story to save one's life. As well, there are already exist a handful of global media conglomerates who control nearly every aspect of the global media. I can only assume that bit by bit, these media giants will begin merging somehow, someway, into a more controllable syndicate.

Here's a very interesting website that shows the six top media giants in painstaking detail, and how media tends to be so interconnected and incestuous: http://www.mediachannel.org/ownership/granville.shtml

As well, see the related (and eye opening) media ownership chart:

Christian Militants Harm Peace Efforts

"Christian militants." The very phrase seems to be an oxymoron.

ANYONE can say they're a "christian", and many people think they are one, simply because they are not Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, etc. But apologists say that merely saying you are a Christian makes about as much sense as standing in your garage and saying that you're a car.

Now God tells us to put on the "armor of God" (Eph 6:10-17) and that Christians are in a "battle" between good and evil on this planet, but as stated in this article: "When Christians resort to illegal and militant action, they are acting no better than Islamic radicals who believe that they have to fight for God. The same spirit is working in both religions, and they end up hurting people in practice of faith."

Thanks, T.R.

Oh oh about the No Go on Miss O

Looks like a few people have shown their displeasure at Oprah's decision to not have on Sarah Palin until after the elections. Interesting.

Either you are for me or against me

Matthew 12:30 - "He who is not with me is against me..." a quote from Christ himself, "borrowed" at one time or another by George Bush.

I'm sure there are websites and writings out there in the ether about this very thing, but my own conclusion is this: wherever God has created something of value, something beautiful, something good, or something pure, satan will corrupt whatever it is, to bring about something of a similar, but much more malevolent, nature. He is the father of lies and deception, after all.
  • God created life and mankind; satan strove to destroy both by using temptation, lies and half-truths.
  • God created the healthiest and most stable of societal relationships: marriage between one man and one woman; satan's lies say that any group of people can get to gether and be called a "family."
  • God specifically tells us that homosexuality is a grave sin; satan tells us that homosexuality, lesbiansm, transgenderism, etc., are just "another way of life" and they are as natural as any other, and are something to be proud of.
  • God gave us Christ the Redeemer, and the cross; satan gave us religion.
  • God told us to love all of mankind, even our enemies, and to help everyone: widows, children, and others; satan gave us ways to divide us...like politics!
  • God created mankind to be above the plants and animals, and to use them for food and other things as needed. He also gave us soul and spirit that we might communicate with Him; satan says that humankind is evil, is trampling the earth, polluting the air and water, and that animals and trees have souls and are just as important as people.
  • God tells us that a "quiverfull" of children is one of life's blessings; that every life, and every child, is precious, and that killing is a sin; satan tells us that overpopulation is destroying the planet, and that it is a woman's choice to kill her child in utero.
  • God tells us that, because of Adam's first sin, we are all sinners to our very core, and the only way we can be redeemed is through salvation in Christ alone; satan says that all paths lead to God, to rely on our own "inner strength" and to "believe in yourself" in order to get through life.
  • Christ says that Hell is real and without belief in Him, there is no hope; satan tells us if we're a "good person" we will go to heaven, or that if prayers are offered to someone's soul after they die, they can still get to heaven.
  • We have one life to live and we will die once; satan, who masquerades as an "angel of light," deceives by telling us we can "follow the light" when we die, or that if we are a good person, our own goodness will get us to heaven, OR, we can be reincarnated over and over to amend for a previous life's sins.
  • God tells us there is but one mediator between God and man, and that's Jesus Christ; satan says that it's okay to worship another human being because he is in the (very broken) "lineage" of one of Christ's disciples.
  • God tells us to pray for others, and to be kind and loving; satan tells his followers to "kill the infidels," and masquerades as a false--and violent--"religion of peace."
  • Christ tells us to be like little children--innocent, open and trusting--in our love for Him; satan tells his followers to bloody their own children, to offer them up for martyrdom, and to fill their minds with hatred toward anyone who is unlike them.
  • Christ elevates the status of women, as in Him there is "no male and female;" satan tells his followers that women are less than second class, barely human, should cover themselves from head to toe, and can be killed for the least little offense.
So, which would you rather belong to?

What is 'proof'?

God tells us to have faith. But in our fleshly sinfulness, there is always doubt. Mankind tends to not believe unless he can actually see and touch something. Faith is hard! One of the best Biblical proofs of all is...well, tangible proof. Proof of life, proof of Biblical history and prophecies that have, are, and will, come to pass. Here are a few websites to that end:

Helping the U.S. to implode

Hey, thanks, Keith Ellison.

Obama: "chronically restless"

I'm no psychologist, but I have known, and have worked for, people in my life who are classic over-achievers, usually stemming from some tragedy early in their lives, in order to prove themselves "worthy."

Barack Obama may be one of these. Along with "Frank," was any of this information acknowledged in either of his books?

"Someone once said that every man is trying to either live up to his father's expectations or make up for his father's mistakes, and I suppose that may explain my particular malady."

Planing Islamic Seeds of Hate in CHILDREN

A horrible and frightening slideshow.

If this "religion" isn't straight from the devil, I don't know what is.

JOHN 8:39-47

"Abraham is our father," they answered.

"If you were Abraham's children," said Jesus, "then you would do the things Abraham did. As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. You are doing the things your own father does."
"We are not illegitimate children," they protested. "The only Father we have is God himself."

Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

Democrats must learn some respect

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

Wonderful article in the Financial Times!

Couldn't happen to a nicer couple of guys :)

WOW! Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews have actually been DEMOTED!!!

This strikes a HUGE blow to two of the most incendiary and liberal mouthpieces in the MSM! :D

"MSNBC is behaving like a heroin addict," one senior staff member observed. "They’re living from fix to fix and swearing they’ll go into rehab the next week."

And after this outburst from Olbermann on the last night of the RNC, the public backlash was undoubtedly fierce:

On the final night of the Republican convention, after MSNBC televised the party’s video "tribute to the victims of 9/11," including graphic footage of the World Trade Center attacks, Mr. Olbermann abruptly took off his journalistic hat.

"I’m sorry, it’s necessary to say this," he began. After saying that the video had exploited the memories of the dead, he directly apologized to viewers who were offended. Then, sounding like a network executive, he said it was "probably not appropriate to be shown."

This just goes to show that Olbermann is one of those "journalists" (a term I use very loosely) who jump from one crisis to the next, and 9/11 is just another "story" that's over and done with, and now should be swept under the rug.

Oooh, I can hear their egos exploding even now. :)

The Media's Plan to Destroy Palin

What scares the MSM in turn makes them behave like vicious rabid dogs.

How much time has the media devoted--in the same excruciating detail--to Joe Biden's history of plagiarism? Not nearly enough.
